I offer a unique perspective as I previously worked as a primary care provider in community health before deciding to specialize as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I understand that emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health are interdependent. While I emphasize the importance of a healthy lifestyle, I understand that psychotropic medications can serve an important role in facilitating mental wellness and I do my best to address the socioeconomic barriers to health that often exist. I provide psychotropic medication management and I integrate brief psychotherapy in my patient visits. I am from Hawai’i and am honored to return to serve the community that lovingly raised me. Being your mental health provider is a privilege. You enrich my life by allowing me to care for you, and my wish is to improve yours as well. I welcome those 18 years of age and beyond.
