I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As an advocate for social justice and the child of an interracial-intercultural marriage, I recognize the importance of the complex aspects of an individual’s identity. I work collaboratively with clients to create a therapeutic environment that best fits their needs, employing mindfulness, empathy, and validation to help individuals and families have healthy relationships with one another.
I received my Master’s of Science from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. I have experience working with children, adolescents, families, and facilitating therapeutic groups. I have helped clients with various issues that come up in therapy including depression, anxiety, anger, LGBTQ issues, and self esteem.
I have undergone further training to specialize in trauma and trauma response in order to work with people who have experienced traumas such as sexual assault and domestic violence.

Dr. Price-Schwartz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara. She graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in 2008 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a traditional internship at Largo Medical Center in 2009 and Family Medicine residency at Trinity Medical Center in Bettendorf, IA in 2012. She was voted chief resident of her program from 2011-2012 and resident of the year.
Dr. Price-Schwartz is board certified in Family Medicine and has over 4 years of experience in Addiction Medicine. Her previous practice was at West Hawaii Community Health Center where she cared for all patients for over 6 years. She currently owns and directs Evolve Medical Center, LLC in Kona.
Dr. Price-Schwartz has a true passion for addiction medicine and is dedicated to her service. Dr. Price-Schwartz holds a first degree black belt in mixed martial arts. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and ocean activities.
Ed Cua, Psy.D.
Psychologist Ed Cua currently serves as Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Senior Advisor/Liasion Officer to US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM). CDR Cua has served with ASPR since 2019, as a Regional Emergency Coordinator in Region 9 where his responsibilities included Preparedness and Response for HI, Guam, American Samoa and CNMI. He has served on deployments for the COVID-19 response in a variety of key leadership and response capacities to include overall Incident Commander on the following missions: CA, AZ, HI, Guam, Republic of Palau, CNMI and Navajo Nation. Prior to joining ASPR, he served on tours as Clinical Psychologist for the Dept of Justice-Bureau of Prisons and with the DoD-Army. CDR Cua was awarded the USPHS Psychologist Advisory Group Senior Psychologist Career Achievement Award in 2021. Cua has been with the US Public Health Service in the Scientist Category for 11 yrs. He is proud Filipino-Chinese American and a part of the USPHS Asian Pacific American Officers Committee.
